how to fix rear bumper sag?

my rear bumper is starting to sag is there anything i can do about it? i checked today and all clips are there and the 4 screws are tight. Seems like its just the clips that aren't holding as tight anymore?

any pics?? if its indeed sagging then i would assume that some of the clips are loose or bent though still intact. on the other hand if its just kind of popping out a little from the corner that meets the side of the taillight on one side then most members have that problem

Yea that's exactly what its doing. Just popping out some on the corners right underneath the tail lights. The gap is hardly noticable but the corners not being flush is irritating. At least its a common problem. The only way I guess is to reinforce with a metal bracket or something

i am gonna assume that you have after market rear. Whoever installed your rear bumper didn't pay attention to transferring the bumper bracket that is used for oem setup, to your aftermarket bumper.
It is #8 in the pic.
better get it fixed. or your bumper will start to crack at mounting points, especially if its fiberglass.

happened to me. it started to crack...so i bought these brackets from online parts store, pull/tug the bumper and used some plast-aid, applying them from the back side to fill the small cracks.
