Here is my take:
Dustin, ANYTHING you sell on here will be associated to Strafe Co. If it's your personal, selling for a friend etc. I would feel safe knowing your good rep will follow you. Sounds like you tried to make good on your end.

Buyer: You take a chance buying anything used and I would def. take that bumper to another shop for a second opinion. I couldn't imagine that your used bumper was abused/hit bad enough to cost 200 bucks to fix.

I know you probably jumped on the chance for a good deal but you should have waited for your move. Too many variables with shipping that are out of buyer and seller's hands.

I am not taking sides but I have been in both situations as a buyer and seller.

nismo front poly shipped to your door 500
fiberglass shipped to your door 440

Also, how much for greddy front bumper and side skirts to 45459?

greddy front and sides are 675 shipped

Wow, great deal. I will almost 100% be making this purchase off of you within the next hour. How do you guys do money transactions?

we only accept major credit cards/debit cards and we can run it through our system today and the order will be processed monday and possibly shipped that day or by latest wednesday

for 50$ more i can send you my custom greddy front i am selling w/molded in gialla grille.. fitment is perfect all you would need to do is respray

bumper cost me about 1000 to make and spray.. so my loss is your gain, selling because i want a different look

here is the link, check it out!
https://g35driver.com/forums/marketpl...ddy-front.html

Looks great man! Is there any way that you could make it an even 700 on the one with the gialla grille? also what cutting did you do and how does it enhance the look?

yeah i will do an even 700 thats fine..

i molded in the gialla grille then cut the entire bottom lip off the greddy and shaped it upward to give the bumper a little more ground clearance.. overall its a real beauty and only one in the world w/it, soon to be you actually

Unbelievable man! I think youve got a buyer! I'm ready to go now just tell me what to do. So let me make sure were on the same page, greddy front and side skirts for 700 shipped correct? tell me what I need to do to buy and it will be a deal immediately!

Wow this was a stupid thread, you bought a used fiberglass bumper that according to dustin was not advertised as just ready to be resprayed and expected no normal cracks? It's freaking fiberglass! Not to mention the reason you get fiberglass is because it can be fixed by you or a show for a cheap price. How do any of us know that those cracks didn't end up going all the way through due to your body shop guy?? This thread is stupid and needs to be locked.

I read through some of the posts but will just post my long and hectic experience with Dustin/Strafe.

I ordered my skirts and rear from Dustin around Feb? He was extremely quick in returning my emails/PMs and answered everything thoroughly and quickly. He put me at ease. I received my tracking number. Waiting a week and next thing you know the parts were lost. I notified Dustin and he quickly responded and again put me at ease. He also extended his hand out and offered me some sort of compensation due to this error which was NOT his fault. The offer was great to here but I declined due to the fact that I'm not someone to take advantage of some other parties mistake and have someone pick up there mistake.

Either way, he assured me that if I didn't receive it he would ship another one free of charge. It arrived after traveling across the country. I held the delivery truck until I inspected the package and found no damage. Minor, minor prep work was needed.

I was very satisfied with his help and willingness to rectify any issues I had. My only complaint was the skirt molded hole was an inch off but I took care of it. Fitment and quality was great and so was Dustin. I would do business again. Hope everything gets worked out between both parties

If you read through our conversation he did say that all that it needed was to be resprayed.. nice job reading though

Yup, im swinging from em like i always do. You Call him out on some "stress cracks", and you didnt even notice them yourself, yet you had work done on the bumper and you expect him to work with you? I think not.

As is is a legal term used to disclaim some implied warranties for an item being sold. Certain types of implied warranties must be specifically disclaimed, such as the implied warranty of title. "As is" denotes that the seller is selling, and the buyer is buying an item in whatever condition it presently exists, and that the buyer is accepting the item "with all faults", whether or not immediately apparent. This is the classic "buyer beware" situation, where the careful buyer should take the time to examine the item before accepting it, or obtain expert advice.
On the other hand, the phrase "as is" does not disclaim express warranties, such as those created by the seller's description of an item. In other words, the item may be sold "as is," but if the item does not conform to the seller's description, the buyer has a right to reject it.
For example, a seller of a used automobile sells his car to a buyer, and puts into the contract of sale the statement: "The buyer accepts the automobile AS IS, WITH ALL FAULTS." Two minutes after the buyer drives off with it, the engine seizes, and the car stalls. Unless the buyer can show that there was some fraud involved, or the seller breached an express warranty, the buyer is not entitled to a refund.[citation needed] This would be a specific example where fraud in the inducement could outweigh anything in the contract, express or implied: it simply doesn't matter what disclaimer or limitations may be found in the contract, if the contract is void (or voidable) for any reason.
Disgruntled buyers of real estate, and their respective improvements, may be faced with other complicated property law issues if a deed is conveyed as a result of a contract with an "as is" clause. In real estate, these are the larger potential problems than issues with the structure itself, which can be drawn out with an inspector. Searching public records is often difficult, and often done lazily by the seller; this means that the buyer may be burdened with liens on the home, and face various fees related to things such as public utilities.
In many jurisdictions disclaimer of various implied warranties is void. For instance, laws on consumer protection, and unfair contract terms may limit the ability of a manufacturer or seller to limit or exclude liability for various types of damage. See, for instance, the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 and Sale of Goods Act 1979
