I'm definitely not looking to light another fire here, but my experiences with Dustin were never all that positive.

Earlier this spring I started looking into bodykit options for my car and ended up going Dustin at Strafe based on what I thought was an excellent deal. A couple of well known board members had advised against ordering from Strafe, but based on my tight budget I went ahead with it anyways. I sent a downpayment to Dustin via PP and agreed to send the remainder after the kit was completed and I was updated with fitment photos and photos of the paint work. Dustin originally quoted me 5-8 days for prep and paint work.

In short, after nearly two months of delays, missed shipment dates, difficulty in communication and what I perceived to be excuses the kit was finally shipped my way. I was updated with fitment photos, but all the pieces had been fitted on different colored cars. That alone got me a bit nervous, as they certainly weren't fitted on Dustin's "personal car" like he had claimed. When the package finally arrived the kit was all wrapped to the highest standard and secured safely within the box. I signed with the UPS driver and he left. After unwrapping the kit I found a number of scratches, rub marks and paint runs on the K2 front. The Impul sides both had cracks in the FG and similar issues with paint that had run or blobbed on them.

I got in touch with Dustin immediately, and although he asked what he could do to fix the situation, he eventually told me that it was an issue with UPS and that I'd have to deal with them.

Ultimately, my experience with Dustin was really two sided. On one hand he offered great pricing and seemed genuinely interested in my build. That was overshadowed by the extreme delays, subpar product and inability to provide any customer support after its delivery. Considering the quality of the packaging, I highly doubt that the damage was caused by UPS. I would have appealed the transaction with Paypal, but the delay in production and the shipping time pushed me over the time limit (90 days if I recall correctly) to appeal the transaction.

Get the world handed to them? haha I mean come on man. Bottom line is i got jipped outta a couple hundred bucks and I wasn't happy bout it. How does that have anything to do with having the world handed to them? Your immaturity is obvious and i dont know when I became "some kid"

This has to be one of the dumbest threads I have ever read. I'm kinda embarrassed I read all 126 posts but I kept hoping they would provide a laugh or something worthwhile, guess I was wrong.

IBTL, it's coming very soon I would guess.

Quote: How can you expect sugar after you told him you were going to take legal action, and blast him on the forum? I agreed with him at that point to stop anymore with your issue due to your Legal action threats. That is where the process of trying to work with you broke down. Then first thing this morning you blast him about cracks which you NEVER mentioned yesterday after you opened the box, and inspected your bumper. You also failed to see cracks in your visual inspection of your bumper. It was only after your texts with Dustin into late last night that you seemed unhappy with our resolve then you came at him with cracks.. Sketchy ? IDK

I'm done in this thread....
You know what even though this may not be entirely your fault, I think the buyer was misguided thinking that no damage was on the bumper. You even said that you knew there were cracks. Stress cracks or whatever cracks, there is damage simple as that. If I bought this bumper and was told just needs a respray im expecting there to be no damage, I dont care if its used because then you would atlest tell me hey there are stress cracks all over this bumper that you are buying ya know? He threatened legal action and blast him on the forum but if I were you Id be the bigger man drop the ego and just say ok lets fix this because its better to leave the drama out of here and have a forum war over some cash which is nothing for you baller.

You barley just broke 100 posts on this forum, not 1 single iTrader rating and your squealing like a pig over your own mistake?

Instant classic. Instant classic.

haha hotel.. and please tell me your not telling me that because you have more posts than me that it makes you any more important. All that that makes you is a 40 year old guy that sits on the computer in peoples threads thinking he knows everything about everything. If you actually got your head out of dustins *** for 5 seconds you would realize that I have a legitimate point, and although I made some mistakes in the process, so did he. He should not have said it was ready for painting if it had these cracks in it, bottom line. Im over being mad at him he did what he had to do and so did I. So why do you feel like an internet badass because you have SOO many posts in a forum.
