Not saying that CBK is bad or anything, or good for that matter, since I personally haven't done business with them, but just because a company does 1 good transaction doesn't mean they've changed or they're good, etc. Sure, it is helpful like building credit, but if your name is tainted it's going to take a while to bring it back up and not many people are willing to take the risk.
In all honesty, it's probably overwhelming, because think about it, the G35 community isn't the only community they're accommodating. There's a ton of others so it does get hectic. Imagine a single individual or a few people handling it all. Pretty difficult, it requires a full staff IMO, and unless that changes, there will be delays, missed/forgotten emails, etc. However, if vendors were honest and truthful, then perhaps it would change things and people would be more understanding. The fact that customers are told it will go out by a certain date numerous times and that doesn't happen, well there goes the trust and here come these threads. Sure, the vendor can be honest and say it won't be for a while, but a projected date she be provided and not delayed much, otherwise, reoccurring delays will result in this type of thread as well.
You, the person I'm quoting, got excellent service. As a business perspective I wouldn't take my time to text and email back to every response a customer had. I'd keep it simple with an update such as the item has shipped, it will be xx days until you receive, and perhaps a tracking number if that's provided. Other than that, I'd be too busy with other individuals.
In the end, vendors need to gain the customers trust. Many people already trust certain vendors but those that aren't close to the vendors (much greater percentage), will have a difficult time deciding. Hopefully your positive experience happens again and continuously as well. It'd be nice to have a consistent and good vendor, well, vendors rather, that supply the mass loads of parts they're able to provide.

I see where you're going with that and want to reiterate that it's not GAINING trust where these vendors are failing miserably... It's KEEPING it where they fall flat. They gain trust, do decent business for about 6 months and instead of either increasing staff and service to accommodate the growing business they get greedy and start stuffing money in their pockets. And THEN once the community (or 4) catch onto their ruse the "I'm too busy" card gets dropped and we are all expected to respect that its tough running a small business and as consumers it's on us to be patient.
And then to add insult to injury the very same people who screw the most people are allowed to come back in and mingle as members of the community- most would think only the most socially substandard individuals would even care to- which is 100% correct. How about something get done about that too. They had nothing to contribute as vendors- I doubt by the time it's been pushed so far as strafe and this most recent debacle that they have anything to offer the community as "owners."
I would like this trash to cease to exist in this community. Completely.

He's going through the same channels that Strafe, Baus and CBK have gone through.
I don't see the difference.
People will still be getting their stuff from the same couple of places.

^wow a bit judgmental and quick to shoot down huh considering r1 is still new to the game. id give them the benefit of the doubt tho. if history repeats itself its proven that the best time to order kits, from a vendor , is when theyre first starting out lmao. sad but true!

I'm sure you both took my comment out of context so go ahead and think what you will.
