Let's just all take time out to think about the reality of the situation. A young man made a horrible discussion. Now his only life here on erth and the life of his entire family our ruined because of bad judgement. Post your comments, but also be sensitive to the situation. May the Lord Bless him and his Family.

"latest update: they ran tests on him a few weeks ago and 5 doctors agreed he will never be the same again IF he ever wakes up...they all said they'd bet their jobs on it....he's never really regained consciousness and they don't know if he ever will..."

Anyone's lucky to be alive looking at that, wtf is he doing something like that with his gf??? I would never race anyone on a city street... ever or with my gf in the car under any circumstances. Take it to the track or a divided limited access freeway with no traffic.

Hopefully he pulls out of the coma and can live a normally life. Its unfortunate for the families of the victims and I hope the kid learned his lesson. Next car should be a Honda Pilot for the safety factor

dude seriously wtf is wrong with people, someone gets in an accident and everyone on that forum calls him a douchbag and an idiot. WTF he just got in a serious accident, yea it was doing something stupid, but seriously show some sympathy. Man peeps really show their immaturity when they respond to a fellow driver in critical care like that. I would hope that if someone got in an accident like that from making a mistake on this forum, peeps would say get well soon not I have no sympathy for you, you're a f'ing idiot. I'm sure if he does make it through he will feel bad enough about the situation don't need a bunch of ****** shoving it in his face. I don't know what's worst the crash itself or how the people around him that said congratulations welcome to the family response to it.

"while the girl wasn't hurt seriously, the 20-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with serious head injuries."

IMO, acting dumb and risking your own life is one thing, but street racing while you're responsible for someone else's is another.

That's just it, IT WASN"T AN ACCIDENT!

He made a conscious choice to race on the street. He didn't have the skill and judgement to handle what he was involved with. Sure it's horrible that he will be a vegetable the rest of his life, sure his family is devastated.

If he bought it with his own money, the blood is on his hands, but if the family did... there is no way I would give any of my kids a car like that. Mine all drove tanks; pickups, station wagons, etc., until they had some experience behind the wheel. I wanted some steel between them and all the crazies out there.
