Video of what I do for a living

I though I would post a video of what I do for a living. I spent all last week coaching at a youth chamber music workshop, and the college age coaches got together and prepared a movement of a Brahms sextet for the final concert. I Normally play the Violin, but I switched to viola for this performance. I'm the guy with the short brown hair sitting third from the right next to the cello.

Awesome! My wife and I used to play the violin back in the day... now I just pay for fun. Great job! (^_^)

One of my mom's old college friends is a famous violinist in the Philippines and his 3 kids play the violin while his wife plays the piano.

The cool thing about his violin is that it's a 1742 “Dolfus” Stradivarius.

He's pretty lucky. I've played on a couple of Strads, a Guarnari, and numerous other great makers. Those instruments are amazing.

I played the Tchaikovsky Violin concerto last october with my orchestra at school and my teacher lent me one of his violins for the performance. It was a 1714 Camillius Camille, and I have to say it was one of the very best instruments I have ever played. It was loud as hell and the response was out of this world. Those instruments definitely make you better. The problem is that no one can afford them. He's selling it now and asking $385,000.

We are a full band and orchestral company. We make nothing but hand-made instruments.

I am the product manager who oversees every aspect of the fretted instrument division (guitars, mandolin, ect)
