Any idea how much quieter it is without the art pipes?

Not that much quieter..... art pipes really doesnt make it louder, they have two big *** resonators on the sides lol, it makes the note deeper i think.. and sounds a hell lot better with it
i was thinking about not buying the art pipes because of the smell, DONT let that stop you, i swear i love the smell. its weird, but i like it.

 

I will say since ART pipes allow more air flow it does create a little rasp at lower rpms, around 4.5-5k. I think with stock cats it actually avoids that rasp. Though you dont get that obvious power increase.

 

LOL....I love the smell too. Reminds me of an old mustang and a bike I had.
It does have rasp though as mentioned before (above 4k) and they are very loud. I normally hate rasp but these are not terrible and only show up when you really step on it. If you climb to above 4k progressively (meaning slowly), its very hard to notice any rasp. When you rev it up fast, its very present indeed.
