Arizona Meet - Nov. 8th
Re: Arizona Meet - Nov. 8th
There’s been a change in our lunch plans. We are going to Oaxaca for lunch instead of the Brewery (they refused our large party). Anyway, it should be a great time and I look forward to meeting everyone. Curtis, thanks for planning the drive. Jeremy, thanks for taking the lead on the AZGOwners group!
See everyone on Sat!

Holy Crap! 15 cars showed up. That was a ton. switchbacks in the canyon were REALLY fun. 3 Z's, 1 S2000, 6 or seven coupes and a few sedans. Thanks all

What fun. Hope everyone feels the same. I counted 16 including the S2000 and at least 4 Zs. It was nice meeting everyone. The picture in the parking lot should include everyone.
I should have my pictures posted in a couple of days.
So when and where should the next meet be? I am thinking January. Give me your ideas... or if you want to plan and organize that would be great too. Any comments about what was done good and not so good at this meet? You can send them to my email address is you do not want to post them. My email is jeepnboy@msn.com.
Are we interested in organizing a formal club? Who has the time and experience to take on such a task? We may not need a formal club, this meet turn out just fine.
Nice meeting everyone,
Curtis

In case you didn't see, I posted a few pics in the general coupe forum. Jim with the sunset Z takes some spectacular pictures and when they are posted I will let you know. I thought the meet went very well, especially getting everyone together to drive in/out of Sedona. The cars blocking traffic letting everyone in was great!

I thought it was great..... the drive home was f'ing amazing.... there was about 4 G's and all 4 Z's caravanning most of the time at speeds of 90-110. what a rush...
what was up with that damn rice mobile Civic that had like 10 guys piled in it? he kept trying to get in between us.

Re: Arizona Meet - Nov. 8th
Ya, the drive back was awesome. That Civic was hilarious! He revved his fart can at me, so I put it in 4th and blew past him so he could get a good listen to what an exhaust should sound like. Also, when I let you in ahead of me a Mazda 6 tried to get past too but I shut that down real quick. Our caravan seemed to generate a lot of attention and picked up some wanna-be's. I think other cars on the road suddenly grew bigger ***** than they really have. There was even a minivan and a lifted Ford riding on what looked like 35's that wanted a piece of the action.

Re: Arizona Meet - Nov. 8th
yeah... I saw that minivan and Ford. the return trip was amazing... we were all running collectively like a finely tuned machine.... the timing of when you let me in on that incline was perfect.. I either had to hit the brakes or step on it to make that hole you left open.... I somehow knew what you were going to do so I jammed on it... We were all reading each others minds!
