Has anyone had their car shipped from Canada to California? Is there anything I need to know to make it go smoothly? Are there any mods that will stop it at the boarder or emissions?

When you register it, you'll have to pass a California smog test. Probably not a problem on a new car like this. Yearly registration fees are currently rather high, though -- you'll have to give Arnold a couple of months to drop them back down. Mine's going to be nearly $700, but it's not due until December, so I'm hoping they abolish the "car tax" before then. If anything, wouldn't there be an issue with bringing a new car from Canada into the US in general? If it's too new, you may have issues.. they don't like people buying their cars in Canada for use in the US, due to currency differences. I'm not entirely sure how it works, though.
