G35 Sedan- Driver Seat Interior-??defect

Hello Everyone
I'm trying to gather any feedback or fact. My G35 on the drivers side..the fabric in between the seat was not sown
properly. (The factory line cut the fabric too short..so it sticks out). ..I took it in to have it fixed and was told it was normal. After viewing all the other G35's on the lot..it appears to abnormal. I bought my car online and it was delivered. (if I had seen it at the dealership..I would have had it fixed then and there)..Does anyone else have this problem..Any advice. ( I did find out it could be fixed under warranty..but the dealer has to eat the cost of about 1,000 dollars to fix it..)but, it's totally delaer discretion.

Re: G35 Sedan- Driver Seat Interior-??defect

tinarsha,
I'm not sure of the exact spot you're talking about on the seat, but it shouldn't matter. If the pieces don't connect, then it's a defect. It sounds like you recently took delivery of the vehicle, so there should not be any arguement over it not being delivered in that state. I would have a dealer fix the problem - any dealer can do the warranty repair. Finally, don't concern yourself with what it cost the dealer/service center, the whole idea behind a warranty is that the financial responisbility to repair a defect not lay on the customer.
Good luck.
