I was at my gym today 24Hour N. Point in San Francisco and to my surprise the 49er Cheerleaders were there signing autographs. I didn't ask why they were there but they were signing autographs and taking pictures with members (guys and ladies).

Because the Holiday Season is around the corner (Thanksgiving/Christmas) I was thinking we can do some good for the community.

Here's my idea -

The 49er organization usually charges $250.00 per cheerleader minimum 2 cheerleaders per event up to 3 hours work. Additional time after that is $100.00 per cheerleader.

For charity, school-related, or community service events they will waive the standard appearance fees and charge only $50 per cheerleader/ mascot to offset travel and other expenses incurred. The charity appearance rate is offered for up to four (4) cheerleaders, and the appearance length is two hours. Additional cheerleaders or additional hours will be billed at the standard appearance rates listed above.

Wouldn't it be great to have a meet at 3COM PARK and have a photo opportunity with the cheerleaders and do some good for the community? I was also thinking we can contact the San Francisco Fire Department and Toys For Tot Programs.

I'm sure with support from G Owners, Z Owners, maybe include the S2K and TL clubs I'm sure we can cover the $50.00 fee! If people do not want to bring cash let's say minimum $5.00 donation or greater. They can bring a toy or canned food to this meet?

If we are down to do this let's start a headcount of whose willing to donate.

Perhaps we can also invite vendors to do demonstrations and set up booths? I will talk to Dyenboy and Yuichi and see what they think about this idea.
