One of my relatives had a professional camera and I can't post pics because the files are too big. If I decrease the size of the picture, you can barley see anything. Is there anyway to decrease the quality of the picture without decreasing the size?

I think you want to decrease the size without decreasing quality. I usally use Photoshop's save for web function from the file menu. Cutting the size to 400x300 or something will usually make everything small.
