California Speedway drag racing

California Speedway is having their winter schedule of street legal drags. Anyone up for it? I used to go all the time in my Acura Legend.

Re: California Speedway drag racing

Hey, some of us may be interested.

Just a few questions for you:
1. What date and time is it?
2. How much is it?
3. Does it get pretty crowded right from the start?

I don't know the details off hand. Check their website. It used to be really crowded when it first started, but then it died down. The last time I went, I strolled in 2 hours after racing starting, checked the car in without having to wait in any line, and was off to the strip in 30 minutes.

It cost $20 back then, dunno if they raised the price.

They now do night races, since it was so hot during the daytime.

Re: California Speedway drag racing

Is it 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile track?

1/4 mile.

Irwindale has 1/8 mile. Wish they had 1/4.
