I'd go, but it's a long drive. I'm mainly responding to your post to ask if you're going to make it sticky

Re: Mazda Racing school

I'm probably going to hit the one down in San Diego March 20-21. They're doing this across the country in 15 cities. I missed it last year when they introduced the Mazda 6. This year they're showcasing the new 3. I plan on going, mainly because they have some driver training workshops and I was out of town for the local autocross car control clinic that was held in December. Cheap lessons. GM is also doing their Auto Show In Motion thing this year and letting you drive a Corvette, Hummer, CTS, etc. through courses. www.autoshowinmotion.com

Re: Mazda Racing school

I'm signed up for Group 8 on Mar 13th at the San Francisco event. Last years event was my first time and it was fun. It was the first time I've autox-ed and I was pretty much hooked ever since. Joined the SCCA shortly after. Hopefully this year they will have a RX-8 to test drive and maybe a showing of their upcoming Miata MX-5 Turbo.
