Hawaii Infiniti Dealership Sold

If you didn't read the paper today, our Infiniti dealership got sold to Charlie King, who owns King Windward Nissan. So now, we get our cars serviced at King's Infiniti of Hawaii. Not much of a ring to it, but anyway...

I especially liked what he had to say about Infiniti cars... "It's not that much more than a V-6 (Honda) Accord with leather," He made no reference to the G35's of course, so he coulda meant the I30 or something.

Although King has accquired Infiniti, I think he or the new heads need to think about keeping the NO dealer mark ups. If they intend on using a dealer markup, I can just see how Infiniti's sales will look like. Without the dealer markup, I think theyve grossed enough, especially when they mention the 62% increase in sales which definitely, in my eyes, would have to be the sales of G35's and FX's. Mr. King will have to really concentrate on his marketing strategy if he wants his repeat customers.

Also, this was talked about over the past 2-3 months, while XLR8SN and myself hung out at Infiniti. We knew this was coming and thought of all the great things the current staff at Infiniti has done for us. Without them, we would have never got to where we are now.

This is a simple thanks for the gratuity that we owe them. Thanks to Steve, Jason, Cheryl, RC, Marc, Rochelle, Dave, Bob, Lito, Alan, Derrick, Alvin, Daryl, Mike, Francis, and the entire tech staff for being the great Infiniti team of Hawaii. If I forgot to mention anyone else, thank you as well. You made your home our home...especially, Daves and mine....and a few others to mention. Aloha
