Does anyone know of a great independent shop or dealer to install my Rogue short shifter for my '03 G35c6mt in th L.A. area? I live in the valley, but willing to drive anywhere in the greater L.A. area. So far, my experiance with a dealer (Service dept.) has not been good! I could install myself, but I'm not setup to get under the car & removing the tooth "thingy" from the old shifter ball has me a little freaked (No work bench or vice). I do have many mods already, so I do need a Mod. friendly dealer.
Also, I'm planning to change my oil to Red Line 10-30w & using a K&N oil filter. Car has 5,000 miles & had one oil change by dealer at 2,500. I would like anyone thoughts with the oil & filter brands. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
