midpipe hawaii
Re: midpipe hawaii
Yeah, I've been looking on ebay and saw parts for the 350Z. I could be wrong but I think the pipes are the same as the coupe and they should fit.
I hope they do because I got a y-pipe for $20.00.
If not let me know so I don't bid on other parts.
Thanks,
Mike
P.S. What intake is recommended. Did the research and it came down to the JWT Pop(cheaper) or the Injen CAI.

Re: midpipe hawaii
All the parts from the Z should fit ours with the exception that they are about 4-6 inches shorter. In the middle of the exhaust area I believe. The headers, cats, Y-pipe. can be the same,..just need the extention before the actual exhaust part. Watch on the headers though,..there are 2 types. The right hand and left hand versions. People have used the JDM versions with no probs,..but check anyway.
Intake,...go to the pop charger versions. The CAI in the Hawaii weather and recent rains will probably lead to hydrolock in the near future unless you are really careful. There has been several cases on hydrolocked G's and Z's already. Use the Z' tube though if you get the pop charger.
Just my thoughts.
On a side note, are you free on this coming Sat nite about at 10 ish?

Re: midpipe hawaii
Anybody will like to get in for this mid or y-pipe? I'm very interested in the mid-pipe, so if anybody interested in this, please reply to post, maybe we can get a group buy going with this. Besides, if your car is not for show purpose, who cares what it looks like under the car right?
