So I finished breakin and decided to treat my G to some 100 octane, just to see the difference. I went to Sonoma and stopped on my way at Infinieon raceway. Unfortunately they were out of 96 and 100. However they had 92 for 1.89/Gallon.

I was very happy paying $8 less per tank, so if you ladies and gentlemen are around and in need of gas, please keep in mind.

Was it really 92 or 91? There is a patent fight on 92 and so other gas manufaturers started refining 91 to get around the patent. Your car might have issues if you run straight 100. The cats/O2 sensors tend not like the effects.

Above mentioned gas station changed its name to Sunoco and sells 91 for 2.45.
