Personally I like G-Line, not only does it cross the American <font color=red>G</font color=red>35 with the Japanese Sky<font color=red>line</font color=red>, it could also be referring to the not so common, usually gone without notice, G string panty line. So for all those who don't drive a G, as long as they have a nice enough car and he/she loves the "G-Line" they could be in. I'm not trying to be perverse, just having a sence of humor.

Although I'm not part of the official 'show' team roster, I thought I'd toss in my two pennies 
This is one touchy area where everyone's opinions and agenda vary wildly. As a parallel, Cirque Du Soleil goes through this every few years trying to come up with the next 'clincher' name for their latest and greatest act. It always gets pretty ugly in the boardroom.
Regrettably, I'll have to agree w. Gurgen the 'Silver Bullet' is yet to be seen from the current line-up. DiamondG also brought up a good point. If the team has decide to NOT limit their participants to G35s only, then it’d be prudent to stay away from any 'Infiniti/G' references.
Something I consider a 'clincher' name would be the like of 'Skunk Works' of the venerable Lockheed Aerospace giant. Surely I'm biased toward such name because I'm in the industry. Likewise, 'Phantom Works', yet another aerospace rip-off, is another one of my favorites. Both of which, however, are probably not a good idea as show team names. For one thing, it is much too excessive and cumbersome when tailed by the word ‘Morotsports’ (another team decision, which I support). For example, Phantom Works Motorsports is not quite as elegant as simply ‘Phantom Works’ or ‘Phantom Motorsports’. So, for the same reason, I think ‘(Team) Transport Motorsports’ should go on a diet as just ‘Team Transport’, if that’s the name you all end up with.
These are conceptual ideas rather than suggestions for names.
On the lighter end, maybe we're all trying a little too hard with this name thing. Let democracy take its course and be done with it. Ya just can't please everyone ... the show must go on. What really matter’s the people in it doing their 'thang'!

well...we did leave it open for folks to come up with diff names. And we have to get closure on this so we can concentrate on other stuff. And we will have a second round to make sure the top 3 are given a fair shake.
