good mechanic in AZ?
I took my G20 tothe Scottsdale dealership once and they made my car wondeful again. They even gave me the pricing on the parts from the everythingg20.com website, but it still cost me both arms and a leg.
Now as my 04 coupe nears the 100K mile mark (it has 92 on it; mostly freeway miles) I get the impression its telling me its about to crap out on me. Something with the brakes is wrong. Not sure what, but the pedal is like a rock in the morning. Its like doing a leg press to get it down. Then after the car has been running for a bit and I have pumped the hell out of it, it begins working fine.
The other thing is it smells like something is buring when I get on the accelerator (like getting on the freeway). It smells like oil, wich seems to fit what I have read all of the other posts about oil consumption problems, but my oil light has never come on and the engine temp. gauge never rises above the level its pretty much always at.
I want to get it looked at because I can't have this car crap out on me now. I need it for a few more years. I am not at all mechanically inclined to be able to pull these things off myself, so I am wondering if anyone knows of a good/honest/affordable (keep dreaming right) mechainc, or if my best bet is taking it to Infiniti of Scottsdale.
Thanks for your time.
