LCD Bulb - AZ members
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone in the local PHX area have a rear projection Sony LCD television that uses an XL-2100 bulb. My TV went out last week and I want to know for sure whether or not it's the bulb or the ballast. If it's the bulb, that'll cost me $150, if it's the ballast, that'll cost me close to $300. Either way, I want to make sure before I drop that $$. Anybody have a spare bulb I could borrow to check...or even let me plug my bulb into your TV (That sounded a little dirty). It's a really simple process that takes about 5 min. total.
Id let you break my perfectly good working TV but its a Philips.
Ive been living out here on the westside for the last 14 years, try a guy named Roland and his shop is called Rotronics. I think it should be listed in Avondale, AZ. Hes the local TV repair guy.
