I'm down, count me in. Even though I'm from Valley, I'm always down there in Westminster. Throughout the meet, we can all go down to the infamous Cafe Shops down there. The girls that serve you, we call them tea hoes, because they be servin' y'all complimentary tea while wearing thongs and bikinis. Hehehehe. Whatever we do, we can rally everyone up, and ask if everyones down for a bbq or picnic of somesort, we all chip in and go get the goods. We all chill on a Saturday afternoon, and afterwards later in the night, we can go clubbing down there or something. Just a suggestion I'd throw out there. This way we can get to know each other, and make this a happening meet. I dunno, I'd love this to be a meet where spectators are like wtf!!!! We gotta hype this more. BTW, I'm curious who here are from the Valley? If anyone from the Valley is also going please let me know, I'd like to go together, we can look pimp all going together!!!

Just to clarify, there was only going to be 1 meet. It was "supposed" to be a Valley meet where everyone meets here but someone made it an OC meet (which is unfair since the last few were there and turnout was not great)

To the valley people, I am unsure if I am going. I was going to take a night shift at work since I would be able to make the valley meet and work but to make the OC meet and back to work would be impossible.

If someone wants to coordinate a drive to OC for the 31st meet, go ahead and take my spot. I will coordinate the next meet if it will actually be a valley meet that time.

Read the thread bro this is for an O.C. meet. Its already been discussed about the size of LA and how difficult it will be to get one centralized place. If you valley G's want to organize your own meet than you're more than welcome too, but keep it out of the O.C. meet's forum, this can only lead to the confusion to those attending our O.C. meet. I don't think you will find many southbay/oc people willing to drive up to the valley. As I said before, the drive up the pass on a weekend is a bitch.. stop and go sometime all the way up and back.. not worth effort. Probably better for the Valley guys to have their own meet.

I agree, this is an OC meet. There are only a few of you complaining about it being too far and having it out in the Valley. I've read other threads and it sounds childish, if you want to seperate and have your own thing then do it. It's a sad thing to see it seperated though, especially on the same day. Valley/turf pride? Funny...

 

Yes, it's too bad the Valley people are turning this into a pissing contest by insisting on having their meet the same day. I would probably end up trying to go to both meets if they were on different days. The BMW guys are probably laughing at our attempts to put together a large meet like they have.

I don't care too much about the place it's the attitude that's pissing me off. Basically, if you guys want to do all the meets in OC then I are going to have to do meets in the valley.
