Does anyone know of any good shops or independent mechanics in the Tucson area? For many years I've been working with a really great guy who had a shop at his personal residence. He charged well for his time, but I trusted this man. Unfortunately, we just lost him to stage 4 lung cancer. He was amazing though. Years ago when I drove a 240sx he was the only one who could keep it running right. The dealerships in town wanted thousands of dollars to start replacing old parts but he was able to just focus on the problems and provide me good advice and solid work. My G35 just pulled 190K and I need someone I can trust. My wife drives and Altima and although our cars have been great, both are 2007s and will need semi regular attention. I'm open to any and all suggestions, provided they're not dealerships.

On a separate note, has anyone done work with Nippon Motor Service?
