Merc test drive where? Is it in El Toro airport? I was there last year when they held that event. Beat the living crap out of the E500 [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]. Went around the track about 4 times.

 

It's at Hollywood Park this time around. They will have all the AMGs there ... should be a blast.

Really AMG's?! Interesting maybe I should just go and convoy with you to Hollywood Park. I know that the sign up last year was already booked solid but half the people did not show up so my friends was able to do the test drive as well. I should do the same this year maybe I can get lucky and get a chance to test drive when I get to there.

Hey ... looks like you may be in luck. I just doubled checked and appeared as I have confused this event w. another. This isn't the AMG one, but rather the Mercedes C-Spot Drive party. I'm sure there will be some AMG there, however. Here's a quote from the program:

"Put it in gear and drive hot laps with a professional driver, enjoy a soothing massage, and then get a sneak peek at the yet to be released technology watch."

... sounds pretty good to me! Also appeared as I've registered as the primary attendee, so I'm allowed one guest. Let me know if you are *definitely* interested so I can add you in. If not, someone else is more than welcome to take the spot.

Anyone else that would like to try their luck at this might want to give this link a shot. Maybe there are still openings (I reserved months ago).

Sign up me as your guest then Clint I appreciate the offer. AMG or not it promises to be a fun day at the track. The sweet thing about it is that we can do whatever we want on the test drive except crashing into something. They did the same thing in the last test drive the massage and the aurs de vorse are awesome. Then they have this small presentation and then its off to the track. I'll see you in Tustin on Saturday then hopefully I can get my G back by then. What kind of G35 do you drive? Coupe or sedan? Color?

(not from irvine/tustin) but I was invited to go to that event also. My friend from "AT LAST" is performing there..name is J.P. (don't laugh, they are an asian boy band group). Was planning on attending, but my college classmate is getting married on that day so I can't attend.
