2004 Route 66-G35 Run or...?
It might take us a year or more to plan, but what if we did a Route 66 run. Pass of the torch at various stops to our other G35D'rs
see http://www.national66.com/adopt.html for the hwy66 map
Or, keeping it in the West, how about a Hwy1 run? From TJ to Canada? Plenty of places to turn back (Santa Barbara & SF).
The above could be for fun, or a fund raising event with some non-profit org.
How about a Poker Run? I can see some pretty cool t-shirts coming out of that one! For those of you not familiar with a Poker Run, it can last a day or 2 or 3. You set a course, and everyone drives (scenically and sanely) to waypoints. At the waypoints you collect an envelope with a regular playing card in it. There are usually 5 or 7 waypoints. At the last stop there is a big party, and everyone pulls out their cards. The best poker hand wins a prize....
If anyone is interested, let me know. I'm pretty good at planning mass events, and its not like we're looking at doing this before Christmas '03.
'03 Sedan 5a: Silver/Graphite, Premium, Aero/Body, Sport, Nav
Solar Gard Quantum Tinting 19% rear, 28% front, and just a little more than 4" of 52% on the windshield
