Steve's Detailing in Woodland Hills

Has anyone taken their car to Steve's Detailing & Hand Car Wash in Woodland Hills?

If so, how's their work? Is it worth it?

Does anyone else know other good/great places to get my car detailed in the San Fernando Valley?

Re: Steve's Detailing in Woodland Hills

Yea i have taken my fully hooked up 330ci there. What i mean is my 330ci convertable fully AC Schnitzered out got the outside detailed. The guy has like 30 different way to detail a car. The guy drives an insanley hooked up corvette Z06. He does good work. I mean you can find better but he might be the best that i know. Also at Crusiers Car Wash (Next to Cosco in Northridge) they detail cars really good to. I to go along with my 330ci i also had a jet black BMW 528i. The car was soo clean after i had the Need For Speed (the video game) Shine for about 2 weeks. IF you take care of the car after the detrail it will look great.

So i hope this helped out in anyway

Re: Steve's Detailing in Woodland Hills

So which was a better detail place? Cruisers or Steve's?

I am worried about cruisers because I know they use a machine wash and I am afraid it will leave swirl marks. And the wheel railings might be metal, so it might scratch up my rims.

I am getting me car professionally buffed right now from the dealer to get rid of the swirl marks. So, I dont want to get more swirl marks.

Any other good detail places you guys know of?

BTW Rashman - How much did you pay at Steve's? What kind of detail was it? And how was the quality? Thanks

Dan, what color is your car? Also wondering how much the dealer is charging you to get rid of the swirls?

Re: Steve's Detailing in Woodland Hills

My car is Twilight Blue. I got my car back today from the dealer. They took it to a body shop to get it color sanded.

They got all the scratches out that the car came with, but if you look at the car in direct sunlight you can see the swirl marks made by the buffer machine. I am really pissed, since they told me that they would be able to take the swirl marks out. Well, I really think that the shop they send it to sucks, so I'm going to go detail it at Steve's since he garauntee's (sp?) he can get all the swirls out. I dont even want to bother with the service guy again.

Btw, the color sanding was free from dealer. I know why.

Ok well do you know what color sanding is? Since they f*ucked up detailing (buffing) the car, they had to color sand it. If you dont know what color sanding is well how can i say it, its like putting on a fresh new layer of paint on top of the existing old one. They really messed up the car. Ask Steve he knows his sh*t. He knows what he is talkin about and tell him your story. He can detail your car to what ever needs to be done. GOOD LUCK
