Agreed, I am not really a fan of the Axis wheels. They are nice but they crack way to easy.

 

Not impressed with them, much better options elsewhere.

 

I have them, just got them a few weeks ago and I like them alot. But just to let you know, I do know they are on some national back order till like late May. If you find anyone selling them or find a shopw that has anyin stock, grab them fast! And I hope you re looking for 20's becasue the 19's offsets are way to high, they won't fit properly. I know there is someone else onthis site that has a set too.





I will say this, I do agree with you that the look a lot like the RS-721's. When the 721's first came out I thought they were the nicest set of rims I had ever seen and I really wanted to get them. And when i saw the Shine in December when they came out, I thought the exact same thing. But I didn't get them becasue the were cheaper (though I did save about $1200). I did like the way they looked and I am very happy with them.

I do think that RH rims are a bit overpriced!

 

i like the design a lot, but the RH 721 look better to me. But that's me because i don't like too many rivets.

 

I actually have a question on this. I have been on this site and My350 lurking around for a while and I do know about the 2 guys who have had their 19" Hiro's crack on them. And some other forums I am on also always reffer to those same guys when someone mentions Axis. What other cases has anyone seen where Axis Rims have cracked that are not 19" Hiro's? I mean if someone can prove me wrong with more example, please do! But I find it a little unfair to say that Axis suck (not that I am gun-ho axis) and that they crack and everyone uses the same two instances to prove their point. It just seems like a weak argument to say Axis suck because 2 cases of the SAME wheel in the Z/G community have cracked, in which even Axis pointed out the defective material in those wheels.

So has their been other people that you know of with Axis (not just Z/G's) that you know have cracked?

When i got my Shine, I was hesitant to buy Axis becasue of these two cases that float around the forums, but I have not heard of anythign else since then!

 

I agree. Axis wheels has been around for awhile. I like the way they look too. Seems like nowadays, if it's not forged, it's crap. If it's not highly priced, it's crap. I'm pretty sure some of those forged wheels has it's faults too. I'm beginning to think a majority of g35 owners are just plain ol' snobs with they're nose stuck up too high. As for the axis shine, I like them alot. I would like them even more if the lip was more polished, more "shine".

 

I have no problems with the 19" rims. If you have the Brembo package you do need a 3mm spacer. You can still get the rims in a staggered tire package at www.wheelsnext.com. The 19" and 20" come with front 245/35 and rear 275/30. The 19's are $2300 and the 20's are $2600 and free shipping. They also have a $175 two year protection plan.
