What is the point of a 2 piece wheel other than acouple more offsets? Going to cost the same to replace the face as it would the entire wheel. Only real difference I see is that it would be more prone to leaking from the seal and has less structural integrity.
If you are going to hit something with enough force, a forged, cast or flow formed two-piece wheel will give either way. A properly setup multi-piece wheel isn't going to leak.
The two piece gives a bit more flexibility by having more offset rangers for their different concavity profiles and also allows you to customize your hardware.

I personally dont worry about the force that would destroy any wheel. I am more worried about the force that is just enough to crack a cast wheel, but not enough to hurt a forged wheel, ie like a pothole. Originally Posted by GetYourWheels

I have had 2 sets of 3 piece ($4k+) wheels leak now. But I guess you answered my question. The only real benefit of 2 piece wheels is additional offsets. But don't the 2 piece setups cost like double the price of single piece of mono cast wheels? I guess I would rather save the extra 1200 dollars and just grab some spacers.

We don't know pricing yet, but based on Forgestar's pricing on their past products I think they are aiming to keep it close to their other Flow-formed wheels.Originally Posted by WhosUrBuddiee

As long as it isnt too much more than their monocast wheels, I can see it being a good deal. Typically I see most monocast in the 300-400 dollar range and 2 piece in the 700-800 range. Under typical pricing, it makes no sense to buy. If they price the 2 piece casts in the ~$500 range, then they would be a great buy.

These look like a pain to clean. Why is the hardware behind the face? I have forgestars. Love them.
