19s and 20s ??? Difference

Looking to get a set of new rims. I am wondering, to those of you that have had 19s and 20s is there a huge performance difference with the 20s? Loss of MPG? Acceleration? Etc.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Two buddies of mine have 20's on their G's... they noticed a very slight (very very slight) difference in acceleration (slower that is)... but for MPG you wont notice

you will have to be more careful over bumps...less rubber to cushion impacts

Actually the sidewall is the same, there is no difference in 245/35/19 and 245/35/20.

I have 20s, and i noticed a slight difference in acceleration and braking. But i went from oem 17s to 20s. The good news is that 20s fill in the gaps more so i didnt have to lower the car.

I used to get 370 miles per tank with about 2 gallons still left over, now its down to about 320... but i havent been really driving on freeway last couple weeks so it was all city driving.

when I went from OEM 18s to 20s, I did notice a slight difference in acceleration, and of course it rides a little rougher. No noticeable difference in MPG. In all, its definitely worth it to get the 20s- the looks are awesome and get complimented daily.

You will notice a bit of a difference, I did. The weight of the wheels plays a big part and you can't help the tires being heavier.
