ruff wheels

Does anyone have an opinion on these rims. I'm debating between these, the axis matrix, stern st-1s, and oem 19s. Thanks. I'm on a budget as you can tell, but dont plan on racing, mostly looking for looks and pretty good quality. Thanks.

ive seen the other models on g's but i dont think ive ever seen these.. do with what you like and can afford.. but for the same price your gonna pay for wheels and tires the oem 19's are better quality and most likely cheaper.

Not crazy about that particular rim but I do have Ruff's. It was really a spur of the moment purchase for me as I was only shopping for 18" tires for my previous rims when I got pitched the sale. The price was right for rims and tires and one of the guys in the garage already agreed to buy my old rims and tires (which were spent) which offset my cost. I left with 19" rims and tires, mounted, balanced and aligned for a little over 1K. Not the best quality from what can be seen on this forum but look much better than what I had and I'm happy with them for now. If I still have the car a yr from now and I probably will as it's paid off, I'll sell what I have and get something I really want. Get what's in your budget and still makes you happy when you get in the car.

I'm leaning back towards the axis matrix again. I found out that the ruffs dont have a clear coat on them. It seems to be that most people are recommending the axis matrix. Do they have a clear coat? Also, I like the axis mod, but they dont come staggered in a 19, and I dont want to go up to 20s.

Actually, my 279's are clear coated though the same model in smaller sizes are not. One of the selling points I was got sold on was that they had the offsets for the G in stock and the price offered. If you're still looking in a year, I'll give you a good deal on mine.....lol.

Go with the Matrix. I'm also looking at wheels now and those are in the picture. Don't know about the offset though they come in 19 X 8 and 19 X 9.5. Check www.axiswheels.com If you like that look check the Volk GT-V out. A little more $$$ but you don't want be looking at the wrong set of wheels on your G.

Anybody... Opinions on Axis wheels?? Good?? Bad??

I dont know, a guy I work with has some gold mesh Ruffs on his IP G. They look pretty cheap if you ask me, and the other day one of my friends who knows absolutely nothing about cars said the same thing- so its not just me being a snob. If it were me, I would hold out until I could afford what I really wanted, not just take the Ruffs because they were being thrown in by the tire salesman.

I actually ended up buying the 19 staggered (8.5, 9.5) axis hiros (gunmetal) for under 1300 on ebay (total price), brand new yesterday. I went back and forth b/t those and the matrix the last few days, but decided on the hiros. Thanks for all the replies.
