Valve Stems

When ordering new tires should we order new valve stems or does the tire pressure monitoring system have anything to do with this?

If your car already has TPS, it is intergrated into your valve stem so new ones aren't required on stock wheels.

Here's an update...............

When my Volks arrived I had the TPS units installed
in the new wheels. No problems in 6 mo. so this
isn't an issue with Volks! And installing new tires
will have zero effect on the TPS system. Just run
the correct tire pressure!

Suxs, just got off teh phone with a discount tire rep, he told me that doing 245/35/19 front and 255/40/19 rear will throw off the VDC and ABS system because it has to be within a half inch or something. So what happens when people upgrade their rims? He seemed more concerned about tire height than width differences whats the deal?
