I have Yokohama Avid W4S on my 18 235/45/18 inch rims (not stock). They are much better in handling and noise compared to the Bridgestones I had before and the stock tires that came on the stock 18 inch rims. They also run around $150 and have a 400 tead wear rating. Here is a tire rack review:

I've had no experience with these Nexxen tires you speak of, but if you're looking for an inexpensive tire with a well-known name, take a look at the Kumho Ecsta ASX ($140), Continental ContiExtreme Contact ($139), or Yokohama Avid W4S ($150). These all have good ratings on Tirerack.com. I've had several sets of Yokohamas on previous cars and loved them, and I currently have the Yoko Parada Spec-X on my FX. I've also had the Kumhos, and they are good too.

If he payed $140 installed, then that is $560. Roughly the same amount you payed.

What size tires did you buy? I find that 88 price hard to believe especially if you were buying the 19" tires for the OEM Rays wheels.

Show me the link to order some Kumho's for 88 and I'll be all over it like a bum to some food stamps

I'll say Falkens, good value in a quality tire. Hate the Kumhos, just my .02
