What to do?

I bought my HpEvos from a fellow board member for a steal. it's come to the point that one of the wheels lips is peeling. I don't know whcih way to go on this, to either get the wheel repaired(don't know if they can) just buy another wheel, Chrome them if not repairable.

I don't plan on investing anymore money into modding the car as my wife will eventually take it over . once are finances get better.

You say the lip is peeling. Does that mean the entire wheel is painted the same color?

DATS FUNNY

Is the clear coat peeling? If so not much you can do about that but sand it down and re-clear coat it. Or you could sand it down and polish it, but be prepared for some heavy maintenance.

It sounds like it's just the clear coat peeling away. That is not difficult to repair at all unless there is some damage to the lip. But even then, it is still easily fixed if they have to refinish the lip completely. You're probably looking no more than $80 depending where you live.
