19s or 20s?!

Looking at some rims hopefully getting within month or so. Right now stock 17s on my coupe lol. tyring to decide on 19s or 20s. I found a good deal for 19s with tires but for the lil extra more can get 20s. Is there much a difference? Not too worried about performance loss with bigger wheels but on budget so may go 19

depends on your car and roads. if its a daily driver, 19s are more practical. if you have bad roads around you, you run the risk of damaging 20s. then again, if your g is a weekend warrior and you've got nice roads, dubs!

Your choice............

The larger wheel the smaller profile tire so this will
result in a harsher ride. And if you don't choose a
very light wheel your gas mileage will go in the
sh*tter. Your choice.....20s on the L.A. freeways
are almost a death wish (for the wheels)!!

^^^that is true if you go from 18's to 20's, but there is virtually no difference between 19's and 20's in the the tire set up. In fact the ride quality is pretty much the same on both. It is comfortable and not harsh like some say.

Depends on what you're willing to sacrifice. More show vs go, mileage, cost although 19" tires cost more than 20" tires in most cases. Also the design of the wheels itself will make some 19" look bigger and vice versa. If road conditions are good and you don't have a need to show off your speed, 20"s would definately be a consideration however if I ever decide to go 20"s, I'd get a mesh design with polished lip. 20"s with the spoke design leaves too much empty space that needs to be filled with a BBK.

no one buys a G35 because its practical or comfortable, just get the 20s.
