Uneven Tire Wear

Hi Everyone

Im a new member, here....hopefully looking to become a frequent regular. Im shopping around for used g35 coupes, and I found a 2004 I really like. I test drove it and was very impressed. I got several thumbs ups from other drivers on the road, it was pretty cool I must admit

I am currently haggling for a price, and as part of my bargain points I noticed uneven tire wear on the two rear tires.

What could be the result of this??? ..

Also as a guideline...if I use a quarter and stick it in the tread of the tires, how much should I expect to see assuming the car was properly driven. It has 42 000 km (26k miles).

This is pretty much the only questionable point about the car, and it is keeping me from running out and buying it right away. Any other tips, or things to check while im at it?
