quick question: idiot light

I was driving on lunch today and a high pitched *beeeeep* intruded my ride on multiple occasions. I couldn't figure out what it was until I got back to work and noticed a new light illuminated on my dash. I don't have my owner's manual with me, so I don't know what it is. It's orange and looks kinda like this (_) with an exclamation point inside. Is this the tire pressure guage indicating low pressure in a tire?

I'd like to know before I drive home. Thanks!

Personally I think any digital pressure gauge will be fine, I have a few from $5 ones from walmart to a $30 one and they all read the same.

If you get new rims and tires does that mess with the pressure light?? will it not work anymore? or does it need to be configured or something??

I have new wheels and did not install the TPS and no light. On some wheels you can install the TPS others not, you need to make a special bracket to band them to the wheels.

My Axis wheels dont have room to include the sensors. When you take the sensors off, the light is not lit. No sensors, no light

the light will come on in aroun 30 miles of highway driving if you dont have the tpms in your new aftermarket wheels...but it will not make a sound...

my wife once took coupe to work. She calls me from the road
Wife- I got some light on the dash and it beeps
Me- what kind of light
Wife- it's a bucket with exclamation mark inside.
Me- pull over and check if your tire's are flat

It turned out ok, tire only was 5 psi less then it needed too.

You reminded me of this storry.
