what to do when its rotor time..

Seeing all the posts about G's at 10-15K needing rotors, I was trying to decide/plan for the cost Stillen rotors ($500 with pads). Then I was talking to a friend who happens to be a Rotora dealer. Having an AT, it would be nice to have some beefy brakes too. Appearently, their G35 kit is due out very soon. He ran some numbers and with some sort of group buy, the kits can be had pretty reasonably.

It would seem that the Rotora would be cheaper over the long run (say 4 years) and I'd have monster brakes. However, its still alot of cash (6 piston 14" for $2300 or 4 piston 13" $1750).

Having fought the rotor problems on my 2k max, I'm really leaning to biting the bullet and at least dropping 1750 on the 13" Plus they look dead sexy

While I'm only at 3500 now, after 12K the dealer wont cover anything.. so very little to lose.

Dunno, what are you guys planning to do when the dealer calls you and wants $600 to do your brakes? Have you prepared yourself for that call yet? : /

I know some people have been lied to by the dealer and simply turning them was enough, but I know of others that the rotor had worn so unevenly that turning wasnt an attractive option. I'm certainly am not paying to have the same junk put back on.
