i know they are not the best of tires, actually they are the cheapest tires for the g on tirerack. but i need tires fast. and im short on funds. in a few months ill have money for better tires and new rims. then my stock 16'' rims and tires will go to a friends car. so until then i won't beat the crap outta my car. out of the 3 which have you guys/girls have had on the g? which one are the best out of the 3 cheapo tires. thanks.

Just re-shoed the stock 17" sport wheels with Avon M550 Tech 235/50-17 ZR-rated tires from Tire Rack. So far I am very impressed with them over the stock Goodyear RS-A's that they replaced, although the added weight and width of tread can definately be noticed especially in the slightly slower steering. They look awesome on the sedan, and work great on wet roads as well as dry. Hope they do well on midwest snowy streets, and wear well...but time will tell. I wanted Michelin P-Sports, but for almost half the price these seem to be a great deal!

Yeah, me too. But they are printed "ZR" on the sidewall. Wierd, but cool with me. Seems like I read a post from somebody on the Sedan forum that had the same experience with the rating.
