I dont know if i should lower the car, because my dealership said that they will 100% void the warrenty suspension. The car is a little rasied , and now i dont scrape the botton of the car when i enter and exit my garage. I think it would be nicer lowered too!

It looks nice as it is. Don't lowered it...life would be better. If u lowered with just springs u might run into problems with alignment, steering wheel shaking at 60-80 mph, and chance to hit the ground like u said. I would highly recommended on getting the Tein adjustable coil-overs, tho they are kinda pricy but worth the money. Anyways enjoy the new rims and drive safely (stay away from the side, watchout for holes on the street...might bend the lip when running over one.) Just my .03 cents, good luck!

Looks like you're running rich for some reason. Why are your exhaust tips so sooty? Mine never get that dirty.

I think the soot is from driving short trips, mine are like that too. I know it's hell on the car but my job requires me to drive from building to building and they are at the most 15 min away. So not to much time to warm up the exhaust.
Rims look sweet too, I love the meaty tires in the back as well. Enjoy

Nice definitly get the wheels blacked out. But do it when your tired of the look of your car. Dont do it right away. I like those wheels alot just one problem is they are kinda heavy LOL. Good job anyways

BTW...your rear tire choice is shorter than your front tire. 26.81 vs. 26.74. These cars require a stagger for proper usage of VDC and ABS. Expect to see your SLIP light come on.

Re: *PICS* I finally got my 20s Axis Seven Mods put on

I've got a similar setup with the front tire slightly larger than the rear and have never seen the "Slip" light come on yet, so I don't think that your comment about "require a stagger" is 100% accurate.

The G35 still looks awesome, staggered or not.

Re: *PICS* I finally got my 20s Axis Seven Mods put on

The ECU is programmed to have a tolerance for tire height front to rear. So if you have the 225-45 front and 245-45 rear your car knows the front tire should spin 800.92 times per mile, and the rear 779.61 times. Mess with that too much and the slip/vdc may not function correctly and activate when you dont want it too. The ABS is also affected. Maybe you guys dont drive as agressively as the Z guys, but ths happens to a lot of them

Re: *PICS* I finally got my 20s Axis Seven Mods put on

So far the ride is good, the only difference i notice while im driving is when i'm braking or going slow my front two tires make a noise. I bought the rims and tires seperate, I bargain down to 2250 and i bought the p-zero tires for 1200. So far everyone has agreed that i've got the tires and rims for a good deal. Im diffently going to black the rims and leave the lip alone, the lip has a mirror polish which makes it look chrome.

The noise maybe from the tires being out of balance.

Re: *PICS* I finally got my 20s Axis Seven Mods put on

This car has been out for almost 1 year, and I have had mine since day 1, so I have been viewing these forums and others for the entire time. Many MANY people have come in here with their aftermarket rims, thinking they are going to be cool and unique, when in reality they made their car look like total ***.

On that note, this is the first set of aftermarket rims that, IMHO, actually look good and don't ruin the damn car. Don't lower it and rice the damn thing out like a POS honda, it looks AWSOME as is. I would actually consider getting these rims if they weren't so damn expensive.
