installing springs-quickquestion

im installing my kg/mm supersport springs and have a stupid question, which part of the spring is up, the end with the coils wound tight (circled in pic) or the end where the coils are loose?

2003.5 G35 Silver/Graphite 6MT Premium Coupe
19" Gunmetal TE37s & 275/30 Michelin Pilot Sports
kg/mm supersport springs
Alpine/JL Audio/Stinger
double din, he-he-he

Usually the tight coil section is on top.

Hey bro - as long as you're installing and have the digital camera out, how about you give us wanna-be DIY'ers an overview of how you installed the springs. The DIY forum is lacking in a good spring installation how-to.

Please let me know how the car rides in detail. I don't know if I should go with springs or HKS LS coilovers for the best ride.
