Snow Tires???

Anyone get snow tires yet? Is it even worth it, will the G move with decent snow tires? I have the factory 18's (pilots)and they're ready to be replaced w/9500 miles. They suck in the rain let alone the snow.

Re: Snow Tires???

They are bad in rain? I talked to a salesman last night and asked about their wet traction. He said they have great wet traction but they are like a hockey puck on snow. I also researched those Michelin Pilots and they appear to have good wet traction rating.
I'm probably going to end up with a G35 with 18" wheels so I'll need some snow tires for Minnesota winter. It seems to me the Dunlop Winter Sport are a good balance between price and performance.

Re: Snow Tires???

I just ordered 17" Pirelli 210 snowsports, with FRD30 (they clear the Brembos), front is 225/50/17, rear 235/50/17

Re: Snow Tires???

The G will definitly benefit from a good all season, or snow tire. The Pilot sports will scare you in snow.

Thank you,

Re: Snow Tires???

I have P225/50R17 RS-A in the front and P235/50R15RS-A in the back. What are your recommendations for the snow? I had to go look at the tires to find this out. I think I'm out of my league.
