Widest tires for stock 19??

hi,
I am trying to get some wider tires for my stock 19 because i think the stock 225/40R19F and 245/40R19R are not wide enough to wrap around stock 19 that well.
So I am wonder what's the widest tires that will fit the stock 19s.

Thanks

This is a great question, I searched and searched forever and never came up with a definitive answer. I'll tell you what I did though and maybe it will help you with your decision. I went with 245/35 in the front and 255/40 in the rear. The front 245 fits perfect but the 35 height is pretty small and I'm running higher than average pressure to protect the rim but a 245/40 might be too tall for the fronts. The 255 in the rear is nice and flush, I'd say you could go with a 265 (if they have them in the tire you are looking at) or even a 275 and it will bulge a litte, with 255 it is completely flush with the rim and maybe a little stretched. Just my thoughts good luck, btw I went with Falken fk-452 cheap tire but not the greatest grip.

Thanks for your info g35brother...
I was thinking 235/35R19F and 255/40R19R or 265/40R19...
I didn't expect 245 would fit on the front so thank you for your info.
I was thinking about getting T1R or Fuzion ZRi.
Any one has tried Proxes4 on 19??

These guys a talking about entry level tires. With all
the other good mods you've made don't get cheap
with the tires. Check with the TireRack for good
prices on Michelins P/S or Goodyears with treadwear
figures over 240 and traction at AA.

I'll try and snap some pics tonight after I install my front lip.
235/35 is too small for the front. Use a tire calculator 245/35 is smaller but not by much and yea the 245s fit perfect on the 8in rims does not look stretched like the oem tires.

I didn't opt for higher rated tires because I really doubt my tires will last more than 10-15k even though the fk-452 are rated at 300. The oem tires feathered bad by 15k. I hear running higher pressures helps prevent the feathering.
