Dumb wheel question...

When I purchased my winter wheels, they came with a plastic ring that allowed it to fit snuggly (if I left it on, the OEM wheels wouldn't fit).

Is the plastic ring I described a spacer?

Reason I ask is, two of them broke and I need to buy replacements...I figured I should know what I am talking about when I ask tirerack about replacements.

For the record, the wheels are 17" ASA JH3's

thanks

DiscountTires.com has the aluminium ones at very reasonable price (<$25).
