G35 in the Winter?

N00B G35 driver here, just got it yesterday (and what a SWEET ride it is). For those of us without eternal sunshine, what do you guys recommend for the winter snow? Go down to 17's with some decent snow tires?

thats what id do..buy some oem 17s (probably the cheapest way) and slap them on for the winter
