You want to keep the diameter as close to stock as possible. This calculator will help. It's not a good idea to go beyond +/- 3% off the stock diameter. Personally, I think that's even too far off.

will honestly I really miss the quick takes off and fast excelleration with the stock 18's.
The 20's do look sweet and grip the road very nice. Now I just need forced induction to make up the power.

I have pirelli P-Zero with my 20s and so far I they are reallllllllly good tires but they are more noisey then other brands. I have 245/35 and 285/30, The car is still quick and handles pretty well with the wide tires in the back. One really awesome thing I've notice after getting my 20s mounted on is that the exhaust is a little bit louder when driving. I guess it's because the car has to push a lil bit harder to go. Congrats on the 20s

thanks bro, congrats to you too. I noticed the same thing with the exhaust. Maybe it's becaue our car is half an inch higher and change the acoustics some how.

I think it needs to access more of the low-end torque/power in order to get the car moving with the bigger wheels and that is why the exhaust is deeper. Kind of like if you slowly drive up a parking garage in 2nd gear. The car will rumble (especially with the Borla!!) and setoff car alarms. Not that I would intentionally do such a thing. woaaaaaah nice rims, I dont know if im going to lower the car, As of now the car is a little higher and I kinda like that because I dont bottom out that often, and now i down have to worry about scraping my bottom when entering my garage, So you're going to lower the car? I think i'll make the car look nicer and the rims bigger huh?

My ride height looks just like yours. Yup I'm going to lower the car. At least an inch in front and a half an inch in rear. This will make the car the same height as stock, but just a little lower in front. This will make the car look sleaker, longer and like you guessed, the rims will look bigger. If you noticed the ride height right now makes the car look a little stubbier.

Did you measure your car before and after the new rims?

I measured and weighed the stock rims+tires and the SSR+tires.
