I would recommend using ONLY MILD SOAP AND PLENTY OF WATER to clean the anodized lips on Volk Racing (and similar) wheels. If you check the classified section, you'll see I'm selling 2 19" Volk GT-7 wheels that were damaged by a local detailer. These detailers routinely work on really nice rides. Even they weren't careful enough with the anodized lips on the Volks. I ended up having to call a couple of authorized Volk dealers, Mackin, and TruWheel to find out that the lips CANNOT be repaired. The lips could be polished but would end up looking more like chrome and would likely require regular polishing afterward.

if u want your rims to stay clean all the time u have 2 options. 1: change your brake pads to low dust ones and 2: never drive your car =)
