Goodyear assurance triple-tread TALK TO ME!!!!!

I'll be needing new boots for the chariot in a few months. I was torn between getting winter tires and summer tires, and swapping them. But I think I'd just rather go with an all-season.

I drive 40,000 miles a year, so tread life is important to me, as is the effected gas effeciency.

I am considering the Goodyear Triple-Tread Assurance tires AS SEEN HERE

Anyone have any first-hand experience with these on the stock 17's?

I've asked the same question about getting all-seasons or winter tires and everyone on the forum says to get winters. All seasons might not perform as well on a RWD car.

All season don't perform well on a FWD, RWD or AWD car they are a frictional compromise by extending the critical plasticization point down from the ~~50F point of Summer tires.

How much friction on what surface at what temperature do you desire is the question.
