OEM 18's vs. OEM 19's

I need some new wheels for my 04 with brembos. Originally I wanted to get aftermarket 18's because aftermarket 19's cost too much money.

Right now I have been offered a great price for the stock 19's from an 05. I really like the way the 19's look, but there is still the question of performance.

The second reason I didn't want 19's was I am worried about the performance, since they are probably heavier than the 18's.

Can anybody tell me if putting on the 19's will hinder my performance at all?

They won't. The oem forged Rays 19s are probably lighter than the oem stock cast 18s.

The oem 19's are about 5-6 lbs. lighter than the oem 18's. 19's are forged rays. If your worried about performance, make sure you look at tire weight when you get tires for your new wheels.

+1 you have to get the total weight (rim + tires) to compare.

also, make sure to get tires that are also very sticky.
