Question about TPM on volk progressive TE's

After a quick search over previous threads it appears various people have had success with re-installing their TPM's on their after market rims. I am considering getting Progressive TE's 19" or the Gram Lights 57s (18" or 19"). Has anyone had experience with these volk rims and getting the TPM to work right?

Also, did you use the OEM TPM? or did you have to get something else?

The first thing you have to do is make sure that they fit the rim. Some rims
have an inside contour that won't let the sensor case lay flat and the stem
exit correctly. Your shop should be able to tell you if the Schraeder sensors
will work with your rim choice.

Assuming the sensors will physically fit the wheels, you will need to get the
BCM reprogrammed if the pressure you are running in your new tires is
different fronm your old tires (common with upsizing).

Thanks usual_suspects.... I guess i'll have to ask around to a few more shops. One place i went to doesn't think any of the volks will be able to mount the tire pressure sensor.

I was hoping someone would have a set of volks with the TPM's functioning properly.

No, just get your dealer to disable the system.
