what would you do?

So my wheels/tires finally arived today. I spent 2 weeks trying to find the 275/35/19 tire for my rear. Called several vendors and they all told me that that size was on national backorder, and my only option is either wait 2-3 months for the brand I wanted, or get Hankooks Ventus 104's. So I said, alright, lets just go with the Hankooks AS LONG AS I GET THE 275/35/19! Anyways, to make a long story short, the wheels came with 275/30/19s in the rear. Should I mount these on my car and see what happens? Or wait for some 275/35/19.. The reason why this is such a big issue if some of you don't know, is because our VDC is very finicky when the front and rear diameters are not as close to stock ratios. I got 245/35/19 in the front.

Who here is running the 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 setup? Your input is greatly appreciated.

A guy at my350Z.com had a problem recently with the same issue. Only difference was he chose the wrong tire size. He did have problems with the VDC so beware.

That thing got a Hemi... Sweet!

Re: what would you do?

i have the same tire as you mention. my vdc does come on unusually early compare to the stock tire. Right now, i just can't wait till i burn out this tire. Going with the P Zero once that tire wear out. I heard that the Bridgestone S03 are in back order. Didn't realize other brand too. Anyway, stay away from Hankook cause they don't make that exact size.

I went with cheap tire cause the guy told me as long as i don't take the corner hard, the hankook should be okay. Well didn't realize it screw up my vdc.

my setup is as follow...245/35/19 and 275/30/19 for the rear.

Re: what would you do?

so do you think I should be okay just driving on my current setup for 2-3 months until I get my hands on the 275/35? I usually drive with my VDC turned off anyways so I shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Dollar,

I think you should be okay but it's a waste that you use it for only a few months. But i have been driving it for awhile now, actually 2 months.
